Know Google Chrome Latest Version

Google Chrome is the fastest and the best Browser till date. This browser have unique features and high security. I have seen people to finding the version of the Google Chrome Software which is installed on their PC. I worked and following are the ways to know about the version of software you are running at this time on your Personal Computer.

You have four way to know about the version of Google Chrome you are running on your PC.

1. From the Control Panel

  • Go to Control Panel.
  • You will find Uninstall Program in Control Panel.
  • Click on the Uninstall Program in the Control Panel.
  • You will find all the software installed on Your PC.
  • Find Google Chrome in the list.
  • You will find version column in last.

2. Direct from Google Chrome

  • Open Google Chrome Application installed on your PC.
  • Tap on the bars given at the top-right of the screen in the Application.
  • You will found 'About Google Chrome'
  • Tap on it.
  • A new page opens titled "About".
  • You will find version of Google Chrome Application there.

3. From Address Bar

  • Open Google Chrome Application installed on your PC.
  • Tap on the address-bar given at the top of the screen in the Application.
  • Copy link (chrome://chrome) and paste on your browser address bar at top of your Google Chrome Application.
  • You will find the version of software of Google Chrome Installed on your PC.

4. Throught Extension (This is the latest way and I have also found it today)

  • Open your Google Chrome Application installed on your PC.
  • Copy the link (http://goo.gl/87LJdZ) and Paste in your Browser Address Bar.
  • You will found a Extension Page opens on Google Chrome Webstore.
  • Click on "+Add to Chrome".
  • Click on "Add" when a Pop-up appears.
  • Wait for few seconds to Download and Install.
  • When extension opens click on the icon appears at top-right of your Google Chrome Browser.
  • You will found the version you are running in bottom of the Extension Pop-up.
