Spot.IM is an Israeli dot-com company founded in 2012 and based in Tel Aviv. The company enables website owners and publishers to turn their websites into a social network based on their own content. Spot.IM’s beta version is currently used on about 1,000 websites, including Time Out, Kerrang, and Suamusica. The application enables users to create a social network where members can communicate with each other in a small group based on a specific interest. Unlike Facebook, the application does not keep any record of conversations, nor it saves identity details.
